Seaglass, Silver, Turquoise and Swarovski crystal bracelet by Natasha Refearn 

This beautiful bracelet measures: 24 cm (9.5 inches) long x 2cm widest seaglass

The seaglass is collected locally from Teignmouth, Torquay and Paignton beaches in South Devon. The silver is hallmarked 925.

Natasha Redfearn makes sea glass jewellery using locally found seaglass, swarovski crystals, freshwater pearls, semi-precious stones and sterling silver. She lives and has her studio in Paignton, Devon.

Often poetically referred to as “Mermaids Tears” sea glass is glass bottles, lamps and glass artefacts that have found their way to the sea where they have been transformed into frosted gem-like treasure by the natural tumbling action of the tides. Often clues to its’ past remain…parts of words, numbers or familiar patterns, yet its origins remains an engaging secret.

Natasha says “I love collecting sea glass from along the Devon shoreline it captivates me with its intrinsic allure – the hushed hues of aqua, green, brown, colbalt blue, lavender and red are enchanting”

She transforms her discovered treasure into one-of-a-kind pieces of jewellery. “My desire is to capture the beauty and magical spirit of the sea and the whisper of sea foam against the shore”.
