Olive & Stones Bowl

Olive & Stones Bowl

Large olive bowl approx 15cm diameter - plus small dish for your stones

Available in Turquoise or Blue glazes

Handmade by Rupert Blamire in his Bristol studio

Rupert Blamire MA RCA

Rupert produces a range of ceramics for cooks and kitchens.
He states, “All our ceramics are hand made on a potters wheel in our Bristol studio using the finest Staffordshire terracotta. They are fired twice to a temperature of 1120 degrees Celsius. We take great pride in our bespoke designs and unique glazes which combine to make the ideal gift for foodies everywhere!”
All the decanters are glazed inside and can be used for oils, vinegar or flavoured oils. The cooling qualities of the terracotta will keep the contents fresh and out of the sunlight. Why not compliment a decanter with one of our tapas plates, ideal for snacks or a small server for chorizo or a few garlic king prawns. The olive bowl has been designed so that the stones can be kept away from your favourite olive.
Because they make the pots on a wheel and glaze them by hand, each piece is unique, giving you a work of art for the kitchen.
Rupert says: "I don't want to embellish my work with phrases or arty nonsense...if you can get pleasure out of their use in the kitchen... or if they give you pleasure when eating then I'm a happy man!"
