June Carnell

June is a stained glass artist living and working in Kingsteignton, Devon. She has a passion for the local area and this is reflected in her work.

 She creates her own range of colourful, lively and well-crafted work inspired by the ocean, Devon landscape and Dartmoor. Her work has unique quality to it as a result of her own contemporary twist on the medium of stained and fused glass.

 June really enjoys taking part in craft shows, open studio events and exhibitions. She is a qualified stained glass tutor and is a member of the Devon Artist Network and Teign Artists. June also runs workshop courses in her studio for beginners and improvers.

She has participated in Devon Art Works 2007 and Teignbridges’s Nine Days of Art 2006. 2010 saw June exhibited her work in France as part of an exchange programme promoting local artist in the Teignbridge area
